Christine Sinquin was born in France during the summer solstice of 1970. To be more precise, she was born in Brittany, which explains her affinity for the sea and all its wonders. After studying English, she left for England to teach French to young, uniformed students who addressed her as 'Miss'. Upon her return to France she picked up her studies where she had left off. She completed her degree in English, and with the modesty of a fresh faced connoisseur of the written word, she set off for Canada to gain fodder so as to put her own pen to paper. Her feet touched ground in that marvelously eclectic city of Montreal. There, she studied translation and met the future father of her son Dorian. Today, Christine earns a living by translating the words of others and, from time to time, etches out a few of her own. And like all those nurtured by the ocean's salty breath, Christine answered the call home. She now shares a home and her Brittany with her son and husband. Good music, good cinema, good food and good friends are never far off.
Gaelle Linard was born in Brest, Brittany, and developed a strong love for her region and the Celtic culture. Gaelle is teaching French in northern Thailand, both to Buddhist monks and lay people. Gaelle also does creative-writing freelance work, as well as English to French translation. In her free time, this human-right enthusiast tries to find ways to strengthen democracy in Burma through local NGOs.

Martine Rhéaume lives on the Plateau Mont-Royal in Montreal, where she takes full advantage of the many contradictions her neighborhood has to offer. Passionate about writing and music, she is finishing a PhD in musicology and teaches music history, all while writing, editing, translating, and proofreading books, articles and texts on a wide variety of subjects. Martine is a marathon and a canicross runner – as soon as her puppy is old enough! –, as well as a snowboarder, all while attending cafés, bars and restaurants that scatter the area.
